About StockGamePlan

Built to help traders see the options forces behind price.

US stocks and indexes are increasingly moved by options hedging. We turn that positioning into clear, plain-language levels and game plans, so you can trade with context instead of guesswork.

Our story

Why we called it StockGamePlan

Stocks are an investment, but trading them also feels a lot like playing a game. In fact, it may be the online “game” with the most participants anywhere in the world: a huge number of players, every trading day, all on the same field.

In any game, players arm themselves with the best gear they can get, and markets are no different. Yet the most useful tools, like options positioning, flow, key levels and the data behind big moves, are often scattered, complicated or expensive.

That is the purpose of StockGamePlan: to find ways to give every player better, more complete “weapons” at the best price we can, so you can walk into each session with a game plan instead of guesswork.

We also hope everyone approaches trading with a calm, steady mindset. Wins and losses are a normal part of any game. When you lose, look back at what happened, learn from it and keep getting better, and keep working toward the goal ahead.

Great gear for every player

Gamma levels, options flow, insider and institutional moves, short-side pressure and a daily game plan, together in one workspace.

The best price we can offer

Start free, and one simple Pro plan unlocks every tool. Our aim is to keep giving players more for less.

Play with a calm mind

Every game has wins and losses. When a trade goes against you, review it, learn from it and keep improving, one step at a time toward your goal.

Trading involves risk. StockGamePlan provides tools and context, not financial advice; your decisions are always your own.

What we focus on

Make options positioning understandable for every trader

Most traders can see price. Far fewer can see the options positioning that shapes it. When market makers sell options, they hedge by buying and selling stocks and futures, and that hedging tends to cluster around a handful of strike prices.

We built StockGamePlan to make that hidden structure visible: where hedging pressure may build, where it may flip, and what kind of day the market is set up for. Our job is to give you context and a plan. The trading decisions are always yours.

Why it matters

Why dealer positioning matters

It can calm or amplify moves

When dealers are long gamma, their hedging tends to dampen moves. When they are short gamma, hedging can push in the same direction as price and moves get bigger.

It marks reference levels

Strikes with heavy gamma often behave like support, resistance or magnets, giving you concrete prices to plan around.

It changes through the day

Positioning shifts as new options trade, especially same-day expiries. Watching it update helps you notice when the setup changes.

Who it's for

Built for every kind of US trader

Day traders and 0DTE

Intraday levels, 0DTE premium flow and the 0DTE Matrix for fast decisions.

Swing traders and investors

Weekly expected moves, stock dashboards and earnings dates to plan entries, exits and position size.

Options traders

Skew, IV, unusual flow and per-expiry gamma to pick strikes and find crowded trades.

Our approach

Principles we build by

Plain language first

Every view comes with a short explanation of what it shows and how traders use it.

Honest about limits

GEX and key levels are model estimates from options data, not confirmed dealer inventory. We say so wherever it matters.

Education, not advice

We don't send trade signals or tell you what to buy or sell. We show the structure; you make the call.

Respect for your data

We only ask for what we need to run your account. Your watchlists are saved to your account so they sync across your devices, and we do not sell or rent personal information.

Data & methodology

How the numbers are made

  • Options data comes from our market-data providers during US market hours and refreshes about every minute. Open interest updates once per day.
  • Gamma exposure (GEX) per strike is estimated from each contract's gamma and open interest: GEX = γ × OI × 100 × S² × 0.01, roughly the dollars of hedging needed for a 1% move.
  • We use the common convention that dealers are long calls and short puts, so call gamma counts as positive and put gamma as negative. Real positioning can differ.
  • Key levels such as call and put walls and the zero-gamma flip are derived from these estimates. The User Guide explains each one.
